Max Green Alchemy Hand Sanitizer Spray is an 80% alcohol-based antiseptic sanitizer that is effective at killing harmful germs and bacteria on hands (and surfaces). The formula is approved by both the WHO (World Health Organization) and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

The ethyl alcohol used is known as "specially denatured" in this case a combination of Specially Denatured Alcohol 40B and 3C (SDA 40B and SDA 3C) which have denaturing ingredients added to render the alcohol disagreeable and therefore not fit to ingest. Also in accordance with the guidelines, fragrance and/or thickening agents which may lessen the antiseptic action are prohibited, meaning this spray is unscented, has a characteristic alcohol odor and it is the consistency of water. Glycerin is included to moisturize the skin and offset the normal drying effect of alcohol. We've been using this hand sanitizer for many months and don't find it to be drying and the scent characteristically clean smelling although you may want to use a moisturizing skin cream afterwards. We recommend any of our creams: Naked Rescue (unscented), Skin Rescue, Sun Rescue and even our Sole Rescue Foot Balm which is especially rich with emollients.

We've been able to produce several thousand hand sanitizers but the severe shortage of suitable alcohol and packaging components means our inventory is finite until additional components can be sourced. And while we wish we could give this away during these Covid-19 times, we hope we have set a fair price that enables us to keep Max Green Alchemy producing all the wonderful products that you love.

The net weight of the product is 165g, and 4 sprays (0.47g) is enough to thoroughly wet both sides of the hands. Therefore each bottle contains approximate 350 uses.

The methanol content of this product is measured at 0.02% - well under the allowable limit of 0.3% for ethyl alcohol.


Directions for Use
Hand sanitizer is to help reduce bacteria that potentially can cause disease. For use when soap and water are not available.

Spray enough product on hands to cover all surfaces, rubbing together until dry. Please supervise children under 6 years ago when using this product to avoid swallowing. Keep out of eyes, ears and mouth, and in case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If swallowed get medical help immediately or contact a Poison Control Center.

IMPORTANT: 80% alcohol hand sanitizer is a highly flammable liquid so take precaution with the way it is handled and stored: never spray around an open flame or source of ignition, always wait before using a lighter and don't store it in a hot automobile or in direct sunlight.
